First-Ever I/E Forum/FAA Academia Symposium Proceedings 2011

This year’s Industry/Educator Forum was transformed into a joint project of AABI, FAA and UAA, with the theme of Applying Education Collaboratively: Raising the Bar on Aviation Safety.

It was a review of aviation education potential to instill decision-making skills, monitoring flight operations, applying ASAP & FOQA programs, and improving General Aviation (GA) safety; and included unprecedented participation by high-ranking FAA representatives.

The Educator Responder Panels will present a “snapshot” during the UAA Fall Education Conference in Indianapolis, Ind., the end of September; and will fully report out during the AABI Winter Meeting in Auburn, Ala., February 16, 2012. Plan now to attend!
